COVD19 & The Allegory of the Burning House
Section 1 of the UK Criminal Damage Act states that if you damage or destroy another person’s property knowingly or intentionally, and without a lawful excuse, you commit the crime of Criminal Damage.
Key Points:
- To be deemed “criminal,” the act must be done knowingly or intentionally.
- Accidental damage isn’t criminal, though you might still owe compensation in a civil court.
- Intentional acts are more serious than knowing ones, but both are criminal and can lead to fines, imprisonment, and damages.
What Constitutes a Lawful Excuse?
Imagine a house on fire. If you break down the door to rescue someone, that act is lawful, despite normally being illegal. It’s reasonable and proportionate given the circumstances.
However, using a bulldozer to knock down the house to save the person would likely kill them, making it unreasonable, disproportionate, and unlawful. On the other hand, if the burning house threatened a neighboring house full of children, using a bulldozer might become lawful to prevent greater harm.
Relating to the Coronavirus Pandemic:
Since the onset of the pandemic in January 2020, overall death rates globally have not significantly changed, even in countries that didn’t enforce lockdowns, social distancing, or mask-wearing. According to the United Nations Population Division, the global population growth rate actually increased slightly from 2019 to 2021.
Thus, while the virus is real and akin to a severe flu, there hasn’t been a significant “pandemic” as the term suggests. If preventative measures were truly effective, we would see a marked increase in deaths in countries that didn’t adopt them, which didn’t happen.
The Burning House Allegory Applied:
- Coronavirus Legislation is the bulldozer.
- Our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Civil Liberties, and Common Law principles are the house.
- The so-called pandemic is the fire inside the house.
Except, there’s no actual fire—just a blown fuse on an electric kettle. The government, by enacting severe measures (the bulldozer), has overreacted to a non-existent fire.
Imagine calling the fire brigade for a blown kettle fuse. They’d likely arrest you for misuse of emergency services. What if you did it daily for 18 months to the entire planet? You’d be in serious trouble.
Conclusion:
Governments worldwide are in a similar predicament under Common Law.
By knowingly or intentionally (i.e., criminally) subverting our Constitution, without lawful excuse, through the unreasonable and disproportionate Coronavirus Act 2020, they are committing an act of TREASON.
